Interpretation

"Sue's ability to synthesise research from a range of different sources into accessible, easily understood yet authoritative text was a real benefit to the project"

(feedback on interpretation work - from Snapping the Stiletto)

We focus primarily (though not exclusively) on written interpretation and can produce anything from interpretative text for a single object or objects - through to complete panels - or an entire exhibition/site.We are also able to produce scripts or notes for verbal interpretation to be used by your staff, volunteers, or guides.

Sue is a member of the Association for Heritage Interpretation (AHI) and GEM, and has completed further AHI/GEM training in heritage interpretation. She has a BA (Hons) in Historical Studies and is active in her local historical association.

She is also an experienced researcher and can deliver research to underpin interpretation - or develop interpretation from your existing research, as you require.  She is an enthusiastic 'storyhunter' and prides herself on discovering the most relevant stories from the research and evidence available and presenting these in ways which are engaging and accessible.
